From June 29th to July 5th, 2019, the 30th International Association of Mining Professors was held in Bochum, Germany. Prof Shuren Wang gave an report entitled the Status and Development Trend of Intelligent Mining in China's Coal Mines, Prof Huamin Li answered questions on the relevant issues.
   The conference focused on the challenges faced by the world's mining engineering education and rock excavation, mining slope stability, mine pressure and control technology, roadway support, intelligent mining technology in mining engineering, the recent advances in new technologies, new materials, and new methods were being discussed. The International Mining Professors Annual Meeting and Academic Seminar have been successfully held for 29 sessions and had achieved remarkable international influence and effect.
   This conference was hosted by TH Georg Agricola University. Researchers, experts, scholars and industrial and mining companies from the US, China, Germany, Canada, Australia, Italy, Austria, Poland and other cuntries gathered together. To jointly discuss major issues related to mining engineering education and mining engineering safety prevention and control research, it will have a positive impact on promoting mining engineering higher education, scientific research and industry-university-research cooperation, teacher and personnel training, discipline and capacity building.
