On November 5h, Dr.Hossein Masoumi from Monash University dilivered the academic lecture entitiled Performances ofcablebolting under pull and shear conditions.

During the report, Dr. Danqi Li introduced the indoor short-package anchorcable pull-test, the establishment of the constitutive equation of the anchorcable under the axial load, the pull-out test of the anchor cable under the combined shear and shear loads, and mechanical properties of anchor cablesunder shearing action. Subsequently, Dr. Li Danqi had an in-depth exchange and interaction with the teachers and students of the Civil Engineering Institute.

Dr Danqi LI, As an Assistant Lecturer in Department of Civil Engineering, Monash University, Australia. He obtained his PhD in Geotechnical Engineering and Mining Engineering, School of Minerals and Energy Resources Engineering, University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. He is the membership of Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM) and International Society for Rock Mechanics (ISRM). He mainly focused on mechanical performances of cable bolt under different loading conditions. He has published 5 famous peer-reviewed Journal papers and 6 Conference papers.
